Clinton Lake

Has anyone fished Clinton recently I am heading there Friday and Saturday any help pointing me in the right direction would help. Last time I was there a couple of weeks ago I only caught 2 keepers and I know there are a lot of good slabs in the lake. Now that most of the boat traffic is gone hopefully the fishing will pick up

kcslabs, I'll be out there too, Friday. Haven't fished there in 2 weeks. I'll prolly start at the dam pulling cranks. Then hit some piles. Will end the day dipping trees. The fish are starting to show up in good numbers under the Slough Creek Bridge at Perry. Caught several 13" plus fish last week in 10' of water. Tons of shad and White Bass.

I was thinking the same thing, I am going to try to go Saturday. I will also be down there next Thursday. Be nice to find some good holes at Clinton or Hillsdale the drive is about half from going to Truman. I am going to half to get over to Perry I have not fished there in about 5 years

Chad,,, crappie, fair in the piles,,,a few trolling cranks in 12ft. Walleye,,,Excellent(for me) got 2 (1 keeper) trolling cranks. Hybirds,,,, you got to love those line-sides. For 2 hours it was non-stop catchin'. Not the keeper size though,,, O ya,,,, cranks. Just maks ya wanna pull all the time:D <*)}}}><

well that does not sound too promising for the crappie....sounds like I should focus my time somewhere else Friday...Maybe I will hit up Perry or Melvern...I will have to see what the wind is going to do.
