    Default Eldorado

Water temp averaged about 65. Fished the main lake around the marina and caught fish on one side in 16 to 20 FOW on standing timber in the morning and in a cove on the other side in 6 to 8 fow in brush piles in the afternoon. Males haven't fanned a bed yet but we're getting pretty black. I'm sure they are spawning in the upper end of the lake but that is where everyone is fishing and had the main lake to myself. Gave 8 to some guys that I met on the lake and 12 to a mom and her teenage son that were fishing close to the marina before I left. Beautiful day on the lake.Name: IMG_20240510_064227134.jpg

Took a guy out Tuesday that had bought his first fishing boat and was wanting to learn to crappie fish and use a bird sonar. Had to fight the wind but we still managed to catch a few. Fished same places as last Friday and females were still full of eggs. Had only one male with a bloody tail. Water temp was 67. The silver and white jig has been really good this spring. Caught about 7 or 8 under 11" to get one big enough to keep.Name: IMG_20240514_155954563.jpg
