Kansas water temp.
Air temp was 40 at 0800 when I started fishing yesterday.water temp was 49. By the end of the day air temp was almost 70 and water temp was 57. Been catch fish from 4 to 14 FOW. Bigger fish suspended away from brush pile or on standing timber shallow. Yesterday was exceptional beautiful. Using ACC 12' to 16' rods with with 1/8 to 1/4 oz heads and home made plastics. Lakes are still low so be safe out there.

Nice fish! Are you in Southern Kansas? In the Northeast part of Kansas all of the lake temps appear to be 46-48 degrees

Wichita area, last Saturday Eldorado was about 54 water temp and caught fish on the far north end of lake in 4 FOW

Water temp at Eldorado was about 57 Monday. crappie were caught in upper end of lake in 6 to 10 fow. Had a friend catching them in 20 FOW same day on main lake. With the hot days and warm night they should be moving to the banks soon.
