A few KS Craps.
The front range lakes are in-between ice and open. Lotsa wind. So I looked at the mid-70 F temps in western KS and had to try. Got a tip of a inlet bite going on and it was brutally slow until 5pm. Then it started and I had the rig and patience and got a few! 1/16 jighead with Electric Chicken 18" under a bobber was the lure of choice. The guys with minnows didn't do near as well. Just had to pop it thru the weeds and let it pause for a second. I missed about 20 or so, and caught 3 LMBs also. maybe I'll move to Kansas!
