Did the FHNB event at Eldorado last weekend. Wind was 20 to 25 mph out of the south starting off Saturday morning making it rough to fish out of a bassboat. After they fed us lunch the winds had laid down but fishing wasn't much better with a big thunderstorm passing through the day before. Did manage some crappie up to 10.5". Sunday morning was calm and got them out a little earlier and the bite was better. Managed to catch some up to 14 3/4" crappie. Over all it was a great event with over 200 handicap people showing up to participate. It's the last full weekend of September and every year we have less boaters show up to volunteer. It's very rewarding and hope some more of the CDC people can show up next year and help out.
