I'm in Wichita and everything is flooded in this area, I got some small ponds to check out for shore fishing and see what happens. Small lakes and ponds, city parks?

My buddy, who runs Clinton state park, advised me that all the boat ramps but one were shut down and the last will probably close tonight. Said they were expecting 3-4 more feet of water over the next few days, bringing the elevation to around 15-20 feet high. He also said Tuttle Creek was around 40ish feet high and Perry around 30' high. He also said even if you got on the water, it's so muddy that you'd have a tough time getting strikes.
I had a chance to get out to Clinton last week and the water was already pretty muddy and high and didn't have much luck at all. I guess it's all over now....
Anyone have any other ideas? I only have around a month to fish before my first baby girl gets here... And this weather is killing me!!!!

I fished a lot in Kansas in my younger days I would love to see pictures?
Indeed, I have checked out a few local city ponds/lakes and all have about less than an inch of visibility.
Cats were hittin good at Sedgwick Park this afternoon, limit 5 and kept 5, averaged 3 lb.

I had planned to take Tuesday 5-14-19 off to fish Clinton. I guess we will go to Douglas county Lake now, its not a Corps lake, has a natural spillway, should be fishable. Or Hillsdale if there are any ramps open.
Corps Engineers site says Hillsdale only up 6 feet, should be some ramps open I would guess.
They pulled the walkways up at the marina ramp at HD, so no problems there. Marysville is a different story. I had to wade out into the water to crawl into my buddy's boat on Friday. The courtesy dock walkway is completely underwater.
