Hillsdale 11-4

Took a quick trip to Hillsdale Saturday. Needed to grab the fire extinguishers out of the.boat to check for the Kidde recall. Sun was supposed to come out but never did. Not too bad on the water. Had not been out for a month is so so had to look around a bit. Found a small group of fish in 19' of water. Ended up with 10 keepers with 4 pushing 12". The rest were 10.25-10.5". Fished about an hour and a half. Best bite was on a peacock/white/white maribou jig. There was no doubt with the bite.

Will put the boat up now for a while to chase birds. First season having a bird dog in a long time.

Thanks BD. Lost my last shorthair 8 years ago when my twin girls were only 9 months old. Finally pulled the trigger and it's worked out pretty well. Kids are old enough to do a lot more with him. He is only 10 months, was Santa's last present this past year.
