Shawnee lake Saturday

Nice and hot Saturday. Got a chance to go for a couple hours. Just cooling off more than anything and getting out of the hotel is always a plus.Was able to c&r afew of these anyway. Slip bobber and a minnow 6 ft down over brush on bottom. Never posted from my phone before. Don't see my pic so hopefully I didn't attach more than 1.

Nice crappie, I used to fish Shawnee and caught many nice crappie, and walleye. It's to bad that the moss and alge have taken over the lake in many areas. I hope in the near future that the Lake Shawnee management can clear this up. It is a beautiful lake, I hope that they can fix it.

Nice fish. The milfoil has been terrible the last few years, almost as bad as the tubers and skiers ��

It really is a nice local lake. Working in Topeka for a few months. Plan to take the boat up this weekend and be able to hit Perry and Clinton. Never been on either. I've got some KDFG waypoints stored so hopefully I can score a few.
