Thread: Hillsdale Lake Conditions?

I'd call it heavy stained. Still some inflow. Still running hard out, up over the sidewalk. Fished it Thursday evening for whites and crappie, looking at water 9' to about 27'. Fish weren't where I expected them with current conditions. Fish I did find weren't feeding between 7 and 9 pm. Working the dog in the swift water this week. Did see couple guys picking up some whites in the spillway Thursday afternoon

Was in the spillway tonight 7 to 730pm. Maybe 8 fishing. Saw no fish caught. Water still over the sidewalk. Looks real fishy. Bite was terrible for me all week. Put 0 big fish in the boat this week. Fished 5 days, 3 lakes. I be chasing it now. Needing a couple more degrees for a hardened summer bite IMO. Raining again at the lake now.
