    Default Hillsdale 3/14

Yesterday was launching before dawn in the fog. Guy at the ramp slaying um 3 feet out and a foot down with crappie nibbles. Looked like about a 60 second bite. All running right around 10". 3 guys there before dawn. Appeared to be on a solid pattern.

Thanks for the report. Heading out there tomorrow morning. Thinking either Wade Branch or HD Point... hopefully they'll be close to the shore!

We prolly saw you after the fog lifted. We trolled the dam for whites. Caught a dozen whites, one largemouth, and a channel. We were using crankbaits. Didn't matter if speed was 5 or 2 mph, all about the same. We stayed on the dam until about 10:30 or 11:00, then dipped all around in crappie cove. Didn't catch any crappie. Water was 58.

It was my son's first time in heavy fog on a lake. He was glad we had gps :-)
