    Default gorgeous catch and release afternoon


    Ok no pictures as we didn't keep any today. Ragnar and got a wild hair to rub to eldorado around 2:30 this afternoon. Checked first brush pile in 16'of water fish were home but we missed dinner. Left there went to another pile in 16' of water Don caught nice 11" right off the bat. 10 min later I caught 16-17" smallie. Slowed d own then we moved a round o n the pile picking up one here and there overall ended up with 12 fish in couple hours. 1 smallie 3 dinks 8 fat keepers f r om 11-13" couldn't believe the lake was like a sheet of glass. Bite was better on the bright colors today 1/8th Oz head down about 14' deep.

    He meant to say he ended up with 12. I only caught 2 keepers. Even switch to his bait. Thanks short draw for taking me out.

    Hey Ragnar I appreciate your honesty! Sometimes it's hard to admit when we get out fished....happens to me all the time

    Yea had to let him out do me. His boat this time (often is). Trying to build his confidence thanks short draw. Another great day to go out and fish. Haven't seen Eldorado that smooth in a long time.

    Dang Ragnar you didn't tell me shortdraw was that way. Man its a wonder he didn't post I was horning him off the fish when we took my boat. Come to think of it I did hear some growls from the back of the boat ...
