12 23 2015 Caught 2 baby slabs and a bluegill off EL Dorado boat dock - Too cold and windy for boats and the dock. Have a great Christmas and gonna be a bunch of fishing in 2016!!!

yes it was canceled my planed day to fish and moved it to the 24th. Slow bite but we did clean 19 fish. throw back another 10 or so between 10-11" SO enough for a traditional Christmas diner. Being Swedish it needed to be lute fish but you take what you can get..

Fished El dorado last night caught 1 11" crappie and 1 24" eye on a 1/8 green and white jig.Tonight caught 8 crappie from 10"-15" and 1 23" eye. All in 10-12 FOW flat on the bottom around brush, lost 3 big eyes on small crappie rig. Went heavier tonight and was using 1/4 oz pink and white home made jig tonight on 6-6 rod and 30#braid. Several short crappie tonight and about 6 white perch. Lost one really large eye that came unhooked at the surface tonight. All the crappie were caught right before dark as sun was setting.
