Got a new one installed back to lake. Fished we caught around 20 crappie kept 6. Fish manly the outlet area. We must not be as dialed in as Dester223

You must have been the one with the crappie.com sticker on their truck. I was out there with 2 guys fishing for bass and wipers in an orange/black/silver Stratos. We fished right by the outlet about the time a boat took off from there. The bass were slow but I did get 4 nice wipers up to 7lb 15oz.

Well. Today was windy windy windy. White caps and even with 3 anchors the boat got pushed around like a ragdoll. On the water fishing at 645. Off by noon.

18 crappie. 10 10 to 11" and 8 that were 12" plus. The crappie were there but just couldnt stay in one spot and fish without worrying the boat will get pushed into the cables and rocks.

Moved into the creek an hour or 2 before we left. Got to the spot and hit 2 nice sized crappie back to back. Then the next 50 or so fish were 4" dinks.
