Twas a great day in KS today
Mixed bag of everything almost.
2 decent sized flat heads
Assortment of white bass.
Then a lot of quality meaty crappie.
Crappie seemed to be biting almost everywhere we went.
8 ft of water. 30 ft of water then 7 ft of water.
All methods worked. Casting and retrieving. Verticle jig. No minnows were used.

Nice haul! What lake was that? I'm at truman for the weekend. Bite has been great here in the mornings in the creeks

Excellent report! Boat has been dry for a few weeks now so this is closest thing to fishing for me.

Thanks. I've never been there. It's a good haul for me. I wish I could say we were that successful at truman this weekend. I can't wait to get back on perry. Too much timber out there for me lol

Its a hour plus haul for me. But most lakes i go to are an hour plus anymore. Oh well.
I might try again this coming saturday if i have time.
