thanks for sharing....fishing will get better!!
North winds Friday kept me to the North areas. NICE DAY!!! Great to get out and have just about the lake to myself. After a few hours I know why. Search a lot of water with Lowrance, just really couldn't target any thing. Using the 'old way' started dragging plastics and minners. Not on breaks any depth. Not in trees but did catch a few 'next year' crappies. Finally went to isolated piles. Whew!!! Got some really nice ones. Full of shad. K-rigged 'in' the piles at 16ft and deeper. Saturday. 39 degrees at 7am. Lite south winds. 8am warming up quickly. Parking lot at Marina just about a 'ghost town'. Headed straight to the South bank piles. Dropping a 'school' of minners down on riggs. moved in to the piles. Less than spectacular bite, kept at it, slow trolling between piles and depths. Got on some in piles next to channels. Lots of wildlife and really enjoyed seeing a Osprey diving from heights to catch a meal. Since the bird was doing better than us, moved to trees. Still nota. Moved to Walky arm and back to piles. A fish here, a fish there, just not much going on. Did enjoy both days out but, should of went to Perry. <*)}}}><

Sacred Heart of Mary, pray for us now, and at the hour of our death. AMEN
For those who believe, no explanation is necessary....for those who don't, no explanation is possible
For the sake of his sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and the whole world
Chatt,
Its not the lake its just the species of fish your fishing for! The wipers are biting when you find them.
Gary
