Thread: Who all FISHED LAST WEEKEND??

Fished for crappie at Winfield lake Sunday morning, dipped trees with 1/4 oz orange jig hid and 2 in orange white and chartreuse washopper plastic. Only caught 9 total with 4 keepers between 10 and 12". All fish were in 15 to 25 F.O.W. couldn't pay for a bite any shallower. Fished from 730 to 11:00 bite shut down at 10. Dog was happy it shut down because he was able to swim after that. Good time over all. Also hit a couple brush piles and no luck stayed on top worked around the outside and got deep in em.

Like I said I fished eldo both days Ragnar fished with me saturday we dipped trees tried a few brush piles every thing from 1/16 to 1/4 Oz all shapes sizes and colors different depths. Used minnows and jigs sat. Marked fish from 6-22 ft.

Wished I had something to report. I've been out 3 times since the end of June and haven't had any luck. I was starting to wonder if there were any walleye in Eldo anymore. Hopefully I'll be able to get on the water in the next week or two.

Fish at least once a week mainly at Perry. Catch a ton of shorts and a FEW keepers on the breaks 12to20 FOW right off the bottom. Did catch a 13" tonight. Oh yea and a slimy ol catfish.

Went out with Don Tuesday night to work on his electronics. Fished for awhile in the marina as the winds was very strong. Caught 5 in 14FOW. Great times...

Fished with Lee on monday at Hillsdale...we mainly worked the timber with a light jig and a minnow and figured we caught and released about a doz. legals and a number of shorts....we thought we'd run out of minnows since the B&P station is now counting each minnow (when I asked why she said they were losing too much money on generous minnow counts!!?? hard for me to believe their bottom line hinges on selling minnows ) but we didn't run out since we didn't use our K-riggs much. First time Lee and I have fished together in months so it was good to raze somebody different! The super moon was like a sunrise!

I aint been since spring camp. But if this knee settles down I plan to get out somewhere next week. Will post good bad or ugly report!

Been putting deer on video. Shopping for a big one. Been in the woods a lot. Driving the duck boat, making blinds. No fishing.
