    Unhappy Humbled at Clinton

Got up early last Friday. Wind was down and I just thought the crappies would be waiting for me. Been having a fantastic time at Big Hill, thought I could duplicate it. Fished piles, breaks and trees. Did not get out past Rock Creek arm much. Nota on plies or breaks. Did catch a few dinks in trees. Got hot even in shade so left at noon. Should of took Ron and Lee's advise and headed to Melvern. Pomona is calling me. <*)}}}><

My luck has been poor at clinton this year. We went yesterday but only to drift for channels. They weren't on fire but we managed to catch 9 good eaters. What has happened to clinton?

    sticky,

I think its a case of high water all year and the water clarity is a lot clearer due the zebra muscles. Plus all the shad in the water its been tougher for me as they have not been in the usual spots I have been catching them in the last 3 years. I just need to search for out new spots and not go back to the same spots over and over again.

We missed you Chatt at Green Acres for breakfast.
Ron and I did manage to get enough slabs for supper.
Caught most inside brush on "K" rigs.
    And yes it was HOT.
Thanks Ron for the Umbrella.....It makes all the difference..

OBTW -- The gas station at Green Acres did Not have Minnows.
We got some at the Melvern Marina. And got a good count on them.

The count at Melvern depends on who is working.
