never fished hd catfish had an ole boy I used to work with put in up at Antioch put limb lines on the channel edges with goldfish used chicken liver on rods and reels always had a lot of fishes for lunch
It's been tough crappie fishing for me at HD while the lake is lowering. Has anyone got suggestions on a good spot to catch some channel from a boat there?

I like to catch them in the mouth. Just kidding, I don't even know where you guys are. But , when you catch some, take pictures and post. You will be entered for the Slider contest.
Saw a post on a Facebook 'bowfishing' page over the weekend from Hillsdale. More flatheads than I could count. I'd say if they're dropping the water at a pretty good pace, anywhere with a notable current will hold some big cats.

I assume the pics of Flatheads were in the spillway? I have never fished it when water was on. Any advice from some of you that have? Do you fish the current itself or more in the slack by wingwalls? If in current what type of presentation?
