Default Fished HD rocks 4/11/15 off the rocks...

Started out Rough. Very Windy. Tough to keep a slip bobber where i wanted it. About 7 or 7:30 the wind died and the fish moved in on the rocks. Fished a Slip Bobber about 3ft to 4ft deep. One pole with a minnow. And one with a Jig. Ended up as a good night everything was bitting. Hope my report helps some fellow Anglers Out. Not any Slabs but Me and my Brother got some good 10" eaters for dinner.

WTG! It's good to see a report from HD....sounds like the evening bite is the deal. What caught more fish jig or minnow?

Looks like somebody had some fun

Keep trying to get out but something always seems to come up. Hoping to try HD Friday after work but the weather is going to be the main concern for tomorrow if it holds off till after midnight that would make me a happy fisherman.

I was there last night and tried some of our traditionally good spawning banks. Couldn't buy a bite. The water was 65+ so we decided to try and find some cooler water, so we headed to the dam. Not sure what the water temp was because the power switch on my boat is broken, but we ended with 14 keepers and at least that many that were 9 to 9 1/2. Decent 3 hours of fishing.

Great to see you again Cbass. Thanks for saying 'Hi'. the water temp at the dam was about 56F. My son and I caught 6 keepers in the last 45 min before dark. Must be moving up to feed in the evenings. Saw some bank fishers doing pretty well too.
