Looks good they should start moving up to spawn soon.
Quick morning at Milford. Had to dodge a catfish tournament start, but once they left, we were essentially all by ourselves. Only got to fish for 2 hours, but had a good day. Didn't catch a crappie under 11.5 inches which is not usual for me. Usually am happy catching a bunch of dinks. My partner, midnight rambler, had a really good morning. Water 53 degrees, crappie were still pretty deep for us -- about 12 feet down in 25 FOW on plain chartruse jig heads with minnows, slow trolling. We kept a few with the bonus fish for supper. Brad

I saw them stacked up on the other side of the Wakefield causeway hiding from the wind. Milford has been on fire for big cats the last couple of years and this year is shaping up for another repeat of last for those those ole whisker chasers.
This coming week I plan to be out there in the evenings if the wind lets me.
