Had to break ice at Geary today. Made so much racket, I guess we scared off all the crappie. Ended up catching only channel cats off minnows. Off the water by 9:00. Brad

Dave, I can only fish from 0600-0900 tomorrow. Wife's got a Roller Derby bout in Salina tomorrow. I got the guys already meeting at Geary. Where you going to try to put in? I stopped by Rolling Hills yesterday to look, but (other than a hovercraft putting in while I was there) no one had tried it. How's it looking today? Brad

I was at curtis and there is enough space to launch then its breaking ice. I will probably look at it tomorrow around noon or so. Have to work on my KTM bike in the morning.....motorcycle traveling season quickly approaching.

One day of solid wind and most of the lake should clear. I rode around the north part of lake and its opening up

Today a kind bank fisherman who was just checking out the ice situation before he brought his boat in...showed us his hotspot....some structure I never knew was there. He let us fish with him from our boat. He looked like he caught about 25-30 throwing them right back. We started slow, but after we said goodbye to him we did better. All smalls. thanks again to nice crappie fisher for sharing info. Brad
