I got these Bobby Garland itty bitty jigheads Bobby Garland and 1.25 itty bitty swim'r jigs the other day at BP. They worked great. I arrived at BP at 11:00 yesterday. They were already sold out of the crappie max reels that were on sale :-(

Seems as though they never have very many of the items talked about or displayed on the shelves. But the seminar by Kevan is outstanding!
Worth the trip to listen to him.

Go to Welcome to Crappie Pro they will have everything Kevin talked about bait wise. They are also a small company that looks after their customers, always felt better giving my money to them over a box store.

Went to the 11am seminar as did Lee and we both talked to Charlie afterward, very nice guy and helpful. I learned a few things that might put a few more fish in the boat and of course bought more crap that I don't need. Also met Jigging 15 from the missouri board (Jared I think) another very nice and informative fisherman, he gave Lee and I some tips and told us to contact him if we come to Truman...will do.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

Hey guys and gals, thank you to those that came out and listened to me ramble on….I could go on for hours about crappie fishing. Hopefully, some of you all took away something from the seminar, that’s what it’s for.

Completely sucks that trucks where broke into, hate that.

As far as the products I talked about, you can always go to Bobby Garlands web-site and purchase them there. I just can’t do a seminar and lie about products (size, color) just because it’s what they have in stock, try to be honest as I can up there. There is no way for Bass Pro Shops to know what the heck I’m going to talk about either, so there is always some products that don’t make the store that I use and talk about in my seminars. Like the rod I use, Bass Pro Shops doesn’t even carry them, but I believe they are the best, and it’s what I use. Here is a link to the rod I use every day : Crappie Rods, Crappie Jigs, Catfish Rod, Catfish Rods, Fishing Rods

    Kevin,

I enjoyed your seminar and meeting you, albeit briefly. I was the guy who asked if you fished Truman in the winter. You have me itching to get out and do some fishing, but my boat won't be here for another few weeks.

Anyway, I enjoyed it, very informative.
