    Default Perry

Took Friday off and went fishing. Caught 18 keepers. Went back today and could only manage 5 but they were all at least 11 inches. All on brush in 18 to 20 fow. About half the fish I caught were full of eggs, thought that was kind of odd.

The fish I have been cleaning also have eggs, getting ready for the 2015 spawn.

Yeah I thought maybe some were trying to spawn because I've read that some can get "confused" in the fall but then I also read that that they start getting their eggs way before the spawn starts again.

I was at the Perry spillway Sunday and they were releasing water, the gulls were in there picking up stunned shad, I didn't have time to fish or any poles but with all the shad floating with the current there has to be a Lot of fish in there feeding on them. Also with the lake already low I wonder why they are releasing water anyway?

I was at Hillsdale last week and couldn't get a bite. The water was very clear. Looks like HD is rising right now.
