    Has anyone had success fishing this lake? I am thinking about fishing it when I can. thanks.

    I talked to a guy in another boat there early this spring. He had caught several crappie. My son and I usually go for bass on Lenexa Lake, so I don't know where you find crappie there, but they're there.

    It's been probably two years since I've crappie fished there, but I've caught them in the standing timber and in the brush. Lots of dinks, never caught a keeper. Lots of good habitat for them, so I would assume the population would eventually be fairly good out there. The water is so clear that in the summertime I've seen crappie passed out in the middle of a hot day in the brushpiles. Probably a better night bite this time of year.
