Thread: Special Olympics tournament This Saturday.

I'll be there :-) Watching Meeder catch all the fish again!

Hate to miss it this year but do to an illness in the family I will not attend. My partner will be there to make me proud. Hope everyone enjoys the tournament and the door prizes we have sent. C-ya all next year and hook one for me.

Charlie Balenger and I will be there to donate our money to a great cause and hopefully bring in 10 crappie....last year I heard only two boats brought in 10 fish!! We'll be dogging Ron and Ozark 88 and see if we can if we can boat some of their leftovers

Looks like the rain is going to leave us alone to catch some slabs once we figure out how to work a jig in 20MPH winds with the boat going up and down 3 feet. Wait a minute. I'll have Ragnar, Don on board to hold the front down. Sorry Don, just kidding, all the slabs should hold the boat down. I heard the lake came up 2 inches in 30 minutes after a storm came through at 1PM today, only 5'10" to go

i can hold the boat down. probably front and back at the same time. hope not that strong of winds. but then again I am not driving so its ok by me. see you Friday night Capt Dan.

As always, enjoyed my day fishing with Slabby Joe. The fishing was slow and the wind made it hard at times to stay where you wanted, but that's fishing. Was my first crappie tournament in a long time, think I will try and make a few more. Do feel for those folks fishing todays event, been super windy all morning and the sky just opened up with big rain here in Lawrence........hope everyone stayed safe.
