I've been on Clinton, Pomona & Melvern the last few trips out. Brush-piles have been the main target. K-rigging from 12ft to 30ft has been a fantastic bite. Lots of little ones but a good number of keepers too. As always, the more isolated the pile,, the most fish. Wind has dictated to just where to fish. Bouncing around from wind/boat wakes makes it more difficult to stay on top of piles. When the weather allows, TREES!!!. My favroite way of slabing is a 10ft pole dipping!!! Yep that tactic is alive too. Been reluctant to get serious to do this in the wind for fear of scratching up the 'Charger'. That WILL end sometime in the future tho. Live bait sure can save the day too. Not a lot of boats out so most places have been vacant. Remember when in the trees,,,, the tops will break when ya hit them or pushing off of them. Getting hit or falling in can cut a day short!! Pomona has got up to normal levels & I'm lookng at the Dragoon when it gets settled down a little. Good luck !!! <*)}}}><
