Went out last night on west end.
Not one bite. Lots of people trying.
    Maybe tomorrow?

I was there last thursday ( Ron & Lee also in Rons boat) and the first cove we went in was 64deg. Found some 67-70deg. water in the coves on the north side and way west end of the lake but we still couldn't find many biting fish??? Talked to a guy at the ramp and he said bank fishermen in the Sundance cove were doing good that day, two guys had 29 and he caught 3 real quick but then the wind switched to the north and they shut down. I was in that cove and saw a bunch of shore fishers but didn't want to encroach on that side so I stayed on the opposite side of the cove and scanned with my electronics, didn't see much so I left......the little things that can make or break a fishing trip!
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

In between fishing for smallies we tried some of our usual spots on the bank. Not one crappie. Water was 57 at the state park ramp and 54-56 up the lake. Warmed up to 58-59 by the time we left, maybe if we had stayed later it would have picked up. Did catch some nice quality smallmouth though.

They were biting today. We caught fish from one end to the other.
Crappievender and I caught 36 nice keepers.
    Thanks Jon

Is the Sundance boat ramp usable? Won't do much fishing probably, but the wife has never been out on the new boat. She needs to learn to drive the boat off the trailer or back it in for me, I can't do it all. Sundance is just the closest ramp for me to get to.
