    Default 1-28-13 lacygne tomorrow :)

Heading to the power plant tomorrow. I still haven't caught a single crappie at this lake but I never jig for them.

Hopefully I can hook up with some catfish and bass tomorrow. Even if I get skunked at least it will be 70 degrees out tomorrow. A little windy at 12-15 mph south winds but I guess tomorrow will still be a good day to get on the water.

I only fish the outlet area. If anyone has suggestions for crappie locations to jig at let me know.

Quick report. Weather was great fishing not do much.

I woke up late. expected to be on the water by 9. Got there and launched at 11.

Boated around to find shad and finally found a good amount at 399 ramp area.

Outlet the current was too strong and my anchor wouldn't hold so went to my second spot. Cast the second pole out and see the first pole bend. Secured second pole grabbed the first. Decent fish. It didn't fight like a catfish and this it's the area I caught a couple big wipers last time. By the way it was running towards them away from the boat I was just sure good sized wiper. Nope 20" or so carp. Didn't even know they attack shad.

The waves were too much still so I ran into the side of the point that shields you from the current. Ended up with about twenty catfish. Three were about four to five pounds but most were too small to keep so back they went.

Talked to another guy on a bass boat with a 250 motor. Him and his buddy were throwing baits all day and zero fish. He said he hit up the whole lake and couldn't find anything.
