Sounds like everybody has had this problem at one time or another. Has happened to me more times than I care to remember. Getting older I figured to heck with them, aint going to argue with them anymore so I move on to another spot. In the past I,ve given a shower or two. Bounced lead spoons off the sides of boats, cut lines snagged to the ancor ropes/wound up in my trolling motor etc. Guess the one that really sticks in my craw, happened some years back with a wally tounament on Milford. The boat pulled up on me close enough to bump. The feller says, bet ya didn't know you'd be fishin in a tounament huh. I asked him to back off and reminded him of the 50' rule and got a smart a$$ remark. Words were exchanged to the extent of, I don't care if you're Al Linder back off. In short I ended up at tounament take off and turned in his in his boat numbers to the tournament officials. I must be a magnet, seems to happen to me quite often

I come from southeast kansas originally, and never had a problem like this. Heck I could fish as many farm ponds, creeks, or rivers as I wanted. As long as I shut the gate and picked up after myself. I fish Hillsdale mainly now, and havent had any thing crazy happen. Other then one time some was fishing on the ramp and wouldnt move. I have fished with a buddy or two, that didnt have a problem getting a little close now and then and I would have to voice my opinion. I have invited several folks to move on in, when I am catching fish. Mainly older folks, or folks with youngins. And I have been invited in closer to fish as well,or been given lots of helpful information. I guess they call that Karma. Good fishing to ya.

But your famous though, they just want your autograph, GPS waypoints, line, lure, and what beverage you're drinking. But honestly, the Wilson tourneys have been that way for us at times. I keep telling my partner to follow your recommendations, but he's just an ole softy now. We were discussing this same thing yesterday and believe there's some intentionally mischief there. Heck, we're always at the end of the pack so it's not like we're getting the good camping spots. I'm just there to work on my tan. I just drop my head and leave anymore, regardless. Like KAG said "combat fishing", I guess
