I think you need to have LBM show you how to make " tight wave maximizing circles" to let these rude dolts know your displeasure and for the real numbnuts who asked you to quit smoking I think a prop shower would have cleared the smoke from the air.....would this change their rude behavior in the future????....probably not but you might feel a little better.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!

I guess because I spend so much time in Alaska and have been exposed to true Combat Fishing I do not get as wound up as I use to.

Just this year on Milford I have had guys come right up behind me and practically bounce a jig off the back of my boat and throw right beside me. Frequently as I am slow trolling they pull right in front of me cutting me off as they have seen me catching fish (this happens a lot).........very very frustrating.

When it gets like this I will usually leave simply because I fish to forget and relax but mainly I know if I don't it will escalate. Yes they are jerks.....I always just hope that they are not breeding.

Yeah, I do have some video's, magazine and newspaper articles about my fishing, maybe I should refer them.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat

I have a story to top this one.

I purchased my first boat about 2 months ago and my inlaws have always had boats so naturally I ask them to show me the ropes. We head out to La Cygne and we launch at the 399 boat ramp. (about 8 am in the morning)

Go to the hot water outlet and see about 5 boats out there. We fish at the outlet to avoid everyone but pretty much got skunked. About an hour into fishing, there was a group of 3 boats in an area that seemed like the fish were biting pretty well. 2 boats leave, then 15 minutes later the third boat leaves. We figure everyone went home so we moved out to the spot and start fishing. about half an hour goes by and the last boat that left, came back and evil eye balled us and takes off. We think nothing of it. (this is about 10-11 am at this point)

We kept fishing until about 3 in the afternoon and had a decent amount of white bass. Go back to load the boat. I drop him off on land to back the truck/trailer in. I see him up there for about 15 minutes not moving. He calls me and says that there is no brake pedal. Low and behold. Someone actually took the time to cut the brake lines on my truck. Go at the valve stems with diagonal cutters. Pulled my bearing buddies out of my boat trailer. Put rocks in the trailer's valve stem caps to let all the air out. Overall pretty crappy situation. Luckily I had friends that were able to locate brake lines and deliver it along with tools and an air pump. Got everything fixed and got home about 8 pm. Pretty angry at the whole situation still.

I'm not sure if I did anything wrong. I figure if a person leaves a spot and doesn't come back that it's fair game. If I took your spot after you left and come back, all you gotta do is tell me. "hey, can I have my spot back" It's a big open spot with room for 10+ boats. Everyone around was catching fish and it's not like you are fishing a brush pile. The white bass are stacked out there.

Anywho, that's my first experience owning a boat.

Ok....I would close the distance and engage on this one.......big difference in just irritating me and screwing with my safety

Pete Harch hit it on the head he said it looks like more cheese takers voted than the cheese makers.

The rudest fishing I have ever encounted was fishing on Pommna several years back, learned one thing, don't throw out a marker on a big school of crappie, the sob's I had to push boats off with my foot, finally we had 25 and pulled up marker and never went back....... have had a couple situations like that here on Truman but just left and go to one of my other spots........ I share several brush piles with a good group, and we all agree, fish'em to see what we can get...... I like one of the guys thinking, tell them this is here, let them have it and then go to the good ones..........

This is the proper way to handle this. Getting pictures & posting the offenders faces/boats should be enough. <*)}}}><
