    Default Glen Help

    Hi all,
taking my parents to the Glen this weekend. First time on the lake. Any advice on what sections of the lake to try?? Tips? Techniques??

Also, what is the best/closest bait shop?? I appreciate any help.

This place gives a very good count. Little Bait Shop the - Cawker City, KS

I probably shouldn't send you this weather link. Click on the 'Forward 2 Days' button on the lower right hand side of the gray area on that site to see forecast a couple days out.

Tabular Weather Forecast for 39.49N 98.32W (Elev. 1434 ft)

    Good luck.

    ,

If you check KDWP--------T's website on fishing reports you can get current activity. If you click on Glen Elder you can see where the brushpiles are located at and plenty more info. Thumbs Up

May the fish be cooperative for you, ask Marti at the bait shop she may have some good information as to where to find fish. If you see Crappie Chatt on the ramp he most likely help.

Corner Bar & Grill and secondly how the fishing was. Fishing is always a iffy thing but with the ol Chattester in there much hilarity is always guaranteed but what the hey it's hilarious wherever he is. Have a good trip.

I heard all the laughing from Chatt's boat a couple weeks ago. He was sitting on a point catching big black's. When he pulled out we went over there to see if he left any behind. And he did. We caught a bunch there. Thanks.

Looking forward to meeting you here at Glen Elder lake. Chatt left his boat here. The Little Bait Shop in Cawker City best place to buy bait or Wayne's Sporting Good on the west side of th square in Glen Elder. Hope the winds die down for all you fishermen out there. Chatt has done well fishing this week. Over 50 Crappie the two days he has been here. Folks from Minnesota were pleased. See ya soon.
