And I'm with crappiekev on this one he'd of obliterated this field of wannabees.
I like your style catcher.
Liven this board up son
Greg thanks for doing all the work and putting on the tourney ! The weather was great and the big fish were biting, had a great time.
chief don't be pickin on us wantabes
Aw Shucks Mike your welcome. Congratulations, that is the biggest weight I have ever seen on a Kansas Lake with 7 fish but I've only been doing this since 2006 so I'm shure that someone out there has a better story. I thought that Ruth and me might somehow sneak into the money a little, man was I off. I think most teams had the same feeling. .I thought it would take over 10 lbs to do it but 11.80 thats blowin the doors off everyone, nice job by Darren and you. Now we would all like for you & Darren to give us a shot at gettin some of our money back at the other tournaments.
Springhill I'm not pickin on you, cause you gotta at least show up to be a wannabee and when I say show up I mean at the lake not on this board.
Can I change my name to Wantabees? Nice win guys

We plan to fish five if we can, Darren is pretty fired up about the tourneys after we fished the one with you guys last year. I just have to convince him spider rigging can be fun. We did some of that Saturday and he got a little testy so it may be hard to do, he has to be broke in. The plan is to be at Melvern next month.
I was a little surprised we weighed that much but Charlie or Kevin had said someone told them it would take 12 lb to win. We caught three 1.6 lb Saturday along w some other nice fish in a limited time so we knew there were some good ones in there. I think we had 13 fish we kept and only caught maybe 8 or 9 others. Lot of fun looking for the big bite on tourney day. Thanks again.
Even more fun when you find it.
I know this probably isn't the thread to do this but I do want to remind anyone who has Lowrance fish finders that Shane (the moderator) will be giving a demo on the operation of your Lowrance fish finder after the weigh-in at Melvern so anybody who has questions on their equipment should come to our tournament on June 3rd at Melvern. You do not have to enter the tourny to do the seminar. The weigh-in is at Eisenhower state park west boat ramp at 3:30 so come to the weigh-in and maybe pick up a few pointers from the winners, BS with the the other tourny fisherman, get a free seminar from a great Walleye & Crappie fisherman, learn how to maximize the use of your electronics and when its over go fish one of our great KS Reservoirs and practice some of the techniques you just learned, that would be a nice Sunday afternoon. ANd I would imagine that if you don't have a Lowrance that much of the info that Shane will talk about will probably cross over to any brand fish finder you have.
