    Default Hitting the WATER!!!!

I finally got the boat out of storage from the mild winter that we had. Got it cleaned out of all the bird feathers that were brought into it by the damn farm cats. Plan on hitting Melvern in the morning. Hope it is going to be like today and no wind, my little boat dosen't like the wind to well. Hope to post pics later.

Well I did make i out, got to fish for a couple of hours before the wind started to kick my boats butt. Pulled 3 fish, nothing huge. All pulled from BP about 18ft deep. Even though I didn't get to fish for as long as I wanted to it was still fun to get out on the water.

Still here. Didn't get out to the lake as much as I wouldve liked to last year, took on a second job of hanging siding. Plan on working for him again this year. It helps to pay for my hobbies, fishing, shooting, reloading, etc.... I am hoping to get out on the water on Fridays in the afternoon or early Saturday mornings. Thats about all the free time I have anymore. As far as the easy fish goes i'll take all I can get.

Glad you got out and caught a few.

I got out for a few hours on Saturday, myself. My daughter had been pestering me to take her and a warm day finally coincided with our free time. I got my dad to go along with us also, so it was a nice Fish Taxi trifecta. We all caught fish, my dad probably caught the most, but my daughter and I did okay for ourselves too.

We found them suspended over 18 feet, loosely schooled over 14 feet, and stacked like cord wood on a brushpile in 12 feet. I wished the brushpile had been out of the wind, because I imagine we could have loaded the boat. Dad was a little grouchy we threw them all back, but I think we were all happy just to be out on the water spending the time together. We caught a few dinks and a few nice ones, and quite a few in between.

All in all, it was a great day to be out! I hope the weather is as nice next weekend!
I am just pullin' your leg.:D
