Went out last weekend and caught some nice crappie in 6-12 fow using jigs tipped with minnows.. Kept nothing under 12 inches. We sure have nice fish here! Going to be at Melvern this weekend camping and fishing. If you see us out, swing by...

Shane - The lake level at El Dorado keeps dropping, I think you're taking out too many fish from the lake. Rofl Rofl
Was out at El Dorado Mon & Tues night, caught some nice crappie, whites, and wipers also.

Never been out to Melvern, like to go, sounds like a good oppurtunity to get a jumpstart on learning the lake, but have other commiments closer to home this weekend.

I do catch and release most of the time... Hope the wipers stay around for a few more weeks. Call me later on this week and lets go out this weekend. I should be free..

Think the wipers and whites might be on the move from there summer hangouts, they defiantly threw me a curve ball last night. Did find some nice crappie caught on minnows, magic depth was about 8ft deep. Perfect weather to be out fishing last night. I'll give you a call...
