    Default Kansas Ultra-lite(Kentucky-rig)

Pole is a med/heavy 7fter bait caster. Reel is a med. baitcaster with a flippin switch. Line is 50lb hi-vis Power Pro. The rig; 1oz sinker, 2, #1 light wire aberdeen hooks, 2, 3way swivels, 1 snap-swivel. Tie sinker to 1st 3 way swivel with 15 to 18in. line. Then add 15 to 18in line to next 3 way swivel. Then 15 to 18in line to a loop knot. Tie the snap swivel to main line. Now tie 20lb mono line to the last holes on the 3ways about 6in long. Tie the hooks to these leaders. Now lay this out on your driveway and reel out 20ft(measure this with a tape. Make marks on the line 10ft up from the sinker, 15ft & 20ft. Now off to the water. Find the pile and mark it with a bouy. Notice what the height of the pile. Bait-up with fresh, lively minners. I hook them thru the lower eye sockets. This should go thru REAL easy. If not, your wrong. Now lower the rig into the water where it will just clear the top of the pile(look at the marks on the line). After doing that, then fish around the piles with the sinker just off the bottom. Now ,,,go into the pile straight down & lift up when ya hit it & go back down. Ifin ya get snagged, slowly lower & lift till it frees it's self. You'll feel everything as the sinker has preloaded the rod. Wish I had a picture and as soon as LBM sees this, he'll surely post one. If you tie them all the same you never need to remark the main line. <*)}}}><
