Default Fish Alert. Get some time

KDWP put the nets out today at Hillsdale. They definitely think it's get some time.

Further away in MO: Was jerking all day for spooners west of the Osceola bridge. White bass were all up in the river. Really stacked on the hard breaks.

Talked to the creel counting guy at HD today. Said they checked the nets today. Got like 6 females and they didn't have many eggs in um. He said guys were really disappointed. Also said he checked and recorded on Hillsdale all weekend and fishing at Hillsdale based on his creel survey the fishing the last 3 days has been slow. Wind was changing from SW to NW while we were speaking

Pressure is real light. One guy on foot and one boat at sunset last night.

I don't usually fish the walleye spawn. Prefer after they come back to the flats. Got mushrooms, spooners, white bass and turkeys to do. Much more action there for me then the walleye spawn. And I don't have confidence in getting close to a limit. Rather wait and put serious weight in the boat later. Only reason for posting is to maybe help someone else out. 3%.

Managed a couple decent ones. Nothing like starting the season with big ones.

Those some good paddle fish. Where'd you catch those. My cousin lives down by Burlington, thought about heading down there some time to give it a try just haven't ever done it, looks like a blast though.

What does that mean? Are they checking fish somewhere in Miami county? Thought the Kansas checking deal ended?
