I am getting ready to buy a couple pounds of minnows and thinking about trying some fatheads this time just due to the fact they are much easier to keep, especially in the heat. I have used shiners exclusively the last several years and had good success. Does anyone use fatheads here in the eastern part of the state? We used to use them with limited success in western kansas but I have not tried them around here.
Anyone have experience one way or the other?
