They have had this for sometime but you either had to go to a specific office such as Fort Scott or mail in a application. Just this year all Corp offices have been authorized to sell them.
Went to get my annual ramp pass and got a pleasant surprise. When you turn 62 you get a LIFETIME ramp pass for a one time payment of $10. It is the America the Beautiful Pass. It is good for all federal boat ramps plus federal parks, national forests, etc. It is the size of a credit card. Not tied to a certain vehicle so you can use any vehicle. Would not of known about it if the lady at the Pomona Corps office had not asked if I was 62 (ouch!). Guess I am officially an old fart. Nice to fish during the week though.

Is this pass good for COE ramps and campgrounds too? There has to be something good about getting old!
