Maybe that is why I did not get a email response from him. Have talked with him on the phone and I had planned on doing some things on JR Lake with the DF and record and send him the data. Initially, I sent him a "trial run" but didn't get any response. Sent him a pm later, no response. Just left it at that. Can't really give a month just know this all started late 2014.

So with his passing, does anyone know if his business will continue or not? I as well have been wanting to get a few of his cards and have not been succeeding on getting ahold of him obviously.

Wrong obituary, I know he died in Jan and I can't find his obituary now. I worked with Jack for many years and got the call a few days after he died.

He definitely had some great maps. Would like to see someone take over the business he did.

My name is Jeff Honer. Jack Baker was one of my best friends. I met him in 2012 at Smithville Lake dropping brush piles in the water. Over these years of friendship, Jack took the the time to teach me so much about the mapping programs. We actually mapped some lakes together. Jack loved the challenges that came with the mapping industry. Sadly, jack passed away January
16, 2016 from complications due to an auto accident in Olathe. He was a legend and he is greatly missed by all his friends, family and mapping customers. His wife also passed away within a day or two of his accident from a illness she had suffered from.
