Default El Dorado Lake Walleye and wiper video

I have been very busy lately but took the time to take video of some fish caught last night. My eye was 27 inches but i didn't get the catch on film. The wipers were a blast. Hope you enjoy and yes, we are still catching nice eyes here. Things have changed a lot on El Dorado but I still can catch them..

I need my partner to show the fish to the camera and not run them back to the live well so fast.

Thanks for sharing! If I put a video camera on my boat that would make for some good laughs!

The type of bait the walleye are eating and how to catch them. Most people I talk to can't catch them now. You have to change your ways of fishing to catch them. Can't do the same thing every time you go out and expect to catch walleye.

That goes for all species, but some folks just dont get it! I spose thats where the old saying, "10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish" comes in. Or the other old saying, "90% of the fish are in 10% of the water". A guy has to spend time fishing before ya get to do the catching!

Fished Eldo last night for the first time in a month or so. The(my) 'typical summer locations' were empty. But after covering a lot of water we finally found some fish. Found a couple keeper eyes that were hungry and broke off a couple wipers...need to re-tie all my leaders as they're chewed up pretty good. 15-20' of water.

    Tyson,

It was good to see you last night. I was fishing undercover in a friends boat. Glad you got on some nice eyes. We were catching wipers all evening...

    Shane,

Good seeing you too. Haha...I was undercover too. Buddy's boat and truck, my beer and gear...worked out perfect. And he has a nicer boat and truck than mine...I still haven't learned how to let go of targeting walleyes and go after just wipers.
