    We found them with cranks in 35-40 ft last weekend. When we found those balls of shad at ~20ft suspended on the road bed, they had walleye and white perch (a lot of perch) following not far behind/below. Match crank size to shad size. And you'll have to use something to get down deep. Dipsy divers, snap weights, etc. Good Luck.

    Got a few jiggin spoons at the bait hut to try out this Wednesday. Might have to run a heavy bottom bouncer ahead of a crank to get down that deep.

    Fishing milford today landed 4 eyes in around 5 ft of water while fishing for smallmouth. If your local lake is having this blue geen algea problem I think this discolored water is keeping them shallow even mid day this 26" eye was caught 1 pm. Normally with clear water there eyes are too sensitive to be this shallow this time of year for where I was fishing.
