Getting hard to call it basketball anymore, all I hear are whistles and see free throws . Think the ncaa wants touch me not defenseless basketball........you know, nba!!
You'll see the difference,,,on the end of your line! PROUD MEMBER OF TEAM GEEZER
I can understand wanting to cut back on the hand checking(that was getting pretty bad), but a defensive player can do nothing but yield once the offensive player makes contact..........bet Roy Williams had something to do with this defenseless basketball sillyness . Everything wrong in college bball is Roy's fault
nice game tonight against duke. still to many whistles
The Speed of a Rhino The Power of a Gazelle
And just think when they learn how to play defense as a team, good greif they will be a hand full for any one. RCJHKU
Our depth is unbelievable, we can go big or small and get it done. I know the Frosh. are getting the spotlight but Perry Ellis quietly took care of business!!! Point guard battle is going to be fun to watch.........Mason understands drive and shoot free throws better than anyone on the team. Lots of upside yet.
Enjoyed getting to watch my first KU game of the year since I don't have Time Warner (What a crock this move is...can't see the first 6 games of the season for the next 6 years even though I get all other channels on U-verse.....I'm not switching and I'm not paying anymore fees!!...ok rant over) KU will be fun to watch...loaded with talent...but I have to agree with Charlie and Chatt the quick whistles are turning the game into a free throw shooting contest......and these new rules are supposed to make the game flow better???? Yeah I guess before long instead of trying to defend a drive to the basket all defensive players will just step back and let whoever lay it in.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
It will take the kids some time to adjust to how the games are being called now. But it is damn hard to watch in the meantime. I actually fell asleep before halftime. Early morning hunt combined with chasing the kids all day flat wore me out.
