    Default Landing net

What landing net are you folks using? Won't be used for crappie much but walleye, catfish, etc. Watching my brother try to grab my walleye and an upset catfish convinced me it might be time to get something. Just don't like how much room they take up in the boat.

Lots of good nets out there. I got mine at BPS can't remember the brand but it has telescoping handle and a rubber net. for around $60. I like it alot especially the rubber net. Don't have any problems with hooks tangling in it. I'll check the brand next time I'm in the boat.

I bought a Bass Pro XPS series landing net a couple months ago with the rubber netting. Got it on sale for around $40, I like it a lot so far. I think regular price is around $45.

The BPS net I mentioned floats... I know this because two weeks ago at melvern ours went in after I landed a big smallmouth for my dad. Took a picture and let the fish go, and when I went to start fishing again I saw it floating about 20 yards behind the boat. Dont know how it happened.
