Good luck with the new boat. Going through the car wash to hose it down is always a plus. I've done it once or twice with my 16.5ft boat. Works a lot faster than using soaps and cleaners. The best part is, it can dry as you tow it home.

Car washes use pretty harsh chemicals that can harm gel coats so hand washing with soap is the best. They do not use soap mainly different types of acids.

I usually have it on soap or rinse at the car wash. Otherwise I use star brite stuff on the deck and gelcoat.

ok. just spend another 2grand at cabels. going to get that silver card too soon. ready to install the new terrova 80, tripple bank charger, all the wiring for the trolling motor, (man that stuff is exspensive to get it marine grade wire) pole holders, disconect, and misc. stuff. spent a 100 fixing and beefing up the trailer hitch on the rodeo, transon support, tie downs. When does it end?

Just dont let the wife know what the rest of this stuff cost and i will be good.

A boat? Just another hole in the water you pour your money into. It started when I was 16 years of age and hasn't stopped 40 plus years later.
