    Default trout

Spent a little time at Shawnee this morning before the wind came up. Bite was slow but managed a few.

What did you get 'em on boss? I went down to Crystal Lake (Garnett) last week and caught a couple but it appears the last stocking was a lot of small ones. I caught some nice ones there in November-December though.

Haven't been to Shawnee yet but hope to.

I caught a bunch including this big "Golden" trout just a little bit ago at Cameron Springs on my fly rod!

Caught half on powerbait half casting a little cleo. Weather or something has them jacked today went out after work and nadda. Didn't see anybody catching. Talked to several that had been fishing for hours without a bite.

I went there with a buddy from work last Wednesday. I believe we caught 23 total, with the biggest 4 all going at least 5 pounds. The biggest was a giant that weighed in at 6.41 pounds and was by far my biggest trout ever. Most were caught on little cleo's but we caught a couple on small crankbaits and finesse soft plastics that we usually use for bass.
