    Default Walley spawn

I was wanting to hit the walley spawn at clinton this yr. I know it ussually happens when the water hits 39 degree F....anyone know when I should expect that to happen. I kinda gotta plan ahead to get out for any length of time.

    Thanks

I would also like to know more about walleye fishing. Never actively gone after them but think I may try at hillsdale this year. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try ~mid March/ St Patricks Day. I have 4-31March marked on my calender.
    Evenings at dam.
Follow water temps on the Ks Parks website for Clinton.
    I fish; therefore I am.

Today the water temp at Clinton started at 39 deg at day light and was 41 when I left around 1:45 PM with eleven crappie in the box.

I will give my two cents worth. Im no walleye guy. But, they never seem to cooperate during the spawn. Post spawn usually seems a whole lot better and then look for them on the flats they seem a lot more interested in eating.
