Do you also use the LakeMaster Great Plains maps? If so, what do you think of them? I have been thinking of getting the chip to see how it compares with Navionics on Melvern and Hillsdale.
I bought the PC program and so far pretty impressed........does quite a bit. I put a few screen shots over in the electronics section. I posted a link if any were interested.

I have no idea how the navionics are but the Lake Master chip I am running I like. One of the things i really like is being about to adjust for the low water levels on it. Seems fairly accurate. One of the cool things about the program and chip is GPS data I get from the computer program I turn around and use on the Lake master chip in the Humminbird. Spent quite a bit of time fishing spot on the lake I looked at closely in 3D on the computer. Caught fish the first place I tried, right where it said they would be in the depth range. Of course the 2nd and 3rd place i did not catch anything but the lake was rough up in the North end today. Trolled some shorter spot ledges and tight lined some areas and found a few fish, these were also highlighted on the PC mapping. I brought the data back and now asked the program to find other places similar to those.
In the end who knows, will take a while to flesh it out and really understand it.......the up coming fall pattern always frustrates me so any help I can get....
My boy caught a white in the north end
My buddy has that, just bought the new chip too. I sure do like the convergence capabilities of HB. One can find themselves fishing at home real easy.
All lakes raise a foot when I step in the boat
Keep us posted on how the CD works out! I ordered the Great Plains chip from Cabelas today, might pop for the CD if it works well for you. Great looking kid! Thanks for sharing!
