    unfortuately not
    report from web:
This morning, shortly after a large ground search was launched involving mounted teams, teams on ATV’s and teams on foot… the call went out – cease operations. The order was made shortly in front of 10:00 0’clock.
The man who was the focus of the search, 36-year old Timothy Griffiths from Hunter, was found by one of the boat patrols that went out on Waconda Lake earlier in the morning.
The search was approaching the 72-hour mark when Griffiths’ body was located in the water in the southwest portion of the unforgiving lake.
Mitchell County Sheriff Doug Daugherty said finding the Hunter man, who had come to the lake for an evening fishing trip with 2-other men, was a relief for everyone involved.

Very sad ending, feel for his family and kids. To all my friends on CC, be careful out there and always wear you life jacket when fishing out of your boat at night.

Preyers sent to for his family and kids.

With this 3 day weekend coming up, Be safe out there guys and gals.
If you fish TX.. one of the rules is..Life jackets on when the big motor is on..and the "dead man's kill switch" must be connected to the boat's driver.

This morning Salina Journal has a complete article on the drowning. As I read it I realized I knew this man and his family. I worked with his wife at Long Riders in Glen Elder several years ago. Now this has personally affects me. To make matters worse, Laura just lost her father two weeks ago. She now has 4 girls to raise by herself. I will send her all of your prayers thank you guys for all your concern.

Please be careful as the holiday weekend approaches. God Be With All of You.

Definitely a sad deal for sure. Prayers for everyone involved. Are there any memorials setup or anyone thought about us CDC members getting something setup to help out this family? Just an idea?

    Be safe out there everyone!

Memorial will to the Griffiths Family Chidren Fund. Here is the address: Laura Griffiths, 706 E. Wheat Drive, Hunter, Kansas, 67452. I know this will be appreciated by the family. Marilyn
