Good job, I to have a lifetime hunt/fish combo. They paid for themselves years ago

I got my sons combo before the big price jump :Hands Clapping
Been my best investments yet Thumbs Up
Just got my lifetime fishing license in the mail today. I never carry my wallet with me on the boat for obvious reasons. How many of you scan your license and carry that instead? Any issues with providing a scanned copy of the original?
P.S. Let 'em raise the rates on me now!!

Being number one in this instance might lead a person to believe you are getting a little rusty Doc!! Rofl

Shouldn't be a problem that I can see. You can purchase one off your pc, and it prints off your printer so I don't see the difference. Kwik tip...I keep my boat registration in a vacum sealed bag in the boat. Never have to worry about it getting wet.
RoflRoflRoflRofl Yea, OK, I guess I'm still alive to say it. By the way, exactly how old do you think I am? I haven't "peaked" yet, and I still don't need Viagra But that's funny though, reminding me why I wear these underpants when I laugh to hard :Hands Clapping Have a good one

I still carry mine in my wallet, and carry my wallet wherever I go. I too got mine before the price went sky high.
Makes me feel young if your #1...mine says 0064. Thought I lost it a few years ago so I sent in for a duplicate. Ended up finding the first one, keep the duplicate in the house. Just don't like to take it on the lake, keep it in the truck. Was checked once at Toronto and the game warden let me go up and get it. Don't know if all officers will do that but he did. Thought about putting it in the freezer bag with registration...just can't make myself do it.

Cost of a fishing license was $200.00 and I don't think you had any pymt options....that was why I didn't get the combo...it was $400.
Now that you mention it I do remember having to get that. My card was issued 2-13-84. Remember that purchasing that stamp was kind of a sore spot with me...initially I thought since I had the license it would alleviate the need to go back each year (small perk ). If I remember right, back then the price for a license was $10.50. Things sure have changed...

My combo was $600 and later I received a check from the State for $200. The letter with the check explained that the cost had been lowered due to basically, lack of response. Then a couple years later came the hatchery fee, I thought it was $15 for a lifetime stamp or you could purchase one annually for more money over the time frame. I called Pratt for some clarification and after a short discussion I expressed my feelings about continuing fees for a lifetime license. Within a matter of days I received the Hatchery stamp free of charge in the mail. I replied back to Pratt with a letter Thanking them for this. My brother had just gotten his combo and didn't fare as well. To be honest, I have no idea how much they cost today for an annual. I do recall a combo being around $500+/- a few years ago with an expected increase up to like $750 when we got my oldest son his. Whew!! Back in my hunting days I remember that Jan 1 hold-up with many of my buddies before we could get into the field.
Even though they've passed THANKS GRANDPA AND GRANDMA
