    Shane,

I just read a post on Walleye Central that they are claiming 35% better clarity and scan speeds up to 35mph with the new unit. Any truth to this? My buddy is thinking about holding off on buying one for the LSS-2 because of this.
    Thanks, Tyson

    Chatt,
Are these pictures from an LSS1 unit. Look very good to me.
I am trying to figure out where to mount the transducer.
Have been thinking about mounting on the jack plate.
But I am not sure it would be in good water at much above fast idle.
Yours must be mounted level with bottom of hull to get these pictures at 40 mph.
    Is that correct?

Size: 23.3 KBMade with LSS-1 & HDS-8 Gen 1. As you can see, I reversed the LSS-1 ducer, lowered to 'skimmer' depth. & zipped tied ducer cable. You MUST then go into structure options and switch right to left. Gota 'new' rooster tailRoflRofl Would show faster speeds ifinbangheadbanghead my tub wood go dat fast. The new LSS-2 ducer is even bigger <*)}}}><

    Chatt,
Do you have to turn the ducer around to get that kind of pictures at those speeds? Mine is already at skimmer depth. I just put the LSS-1 on and haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

I didn't like the cable up front being a 'bumper' & I think it would cause turbulance. <*)}}}><
